This morning, I forced myself to go to yoga.
Iāve been paying for my membership⦠and hadnāt gone in over a month.
Not because I havenāt been moving.
Iāve been walking and staying active in different ways, with home workouts.
But something was missing.
And I didnāt even realize it⦠until I hit my mat.
I walked into that class telling myself, āIf I donāt like it, Iām cancelling my membership.ā
But that did not happen.
š§āāļø Within 10 Minutes⦠Everything Shifted
Lying on my mat in stillness brought me right back to myself.
To my body.
To my mind.
To my soul.
And thereās a reason for that.
When we slow down and connect with our breath, we activate the parasympathetic nervous systemāthe part of our body responsible for rest, recovery, and healing.
Stress levels drop.
Heart rate slows.
The body begins to repair.
That feeling⦠that calm⦠that clarityā¦
Itās not just emotional.
Itās physiological.
And within minutes, I remembered.
I remembered exactly why I signed up in the first place.
And it hit meā¦

We donāt stop because we donāt care.
We donāt give up because we donāt want it.
š We stop because we forget.
We forget our WHY.
We fall back into old habits.
We get busy.
We get tired.

To breathe deeply.
To fuel our bodies properly.
We forget what it feels like⦠to feel alive.

When I donāt move, I feel it.
My body feels heavy.

I feel sluggish.
Tired.
Disconnected from myself.
But the moment I move⦠everything begins to shift.

I move.
Even just a walk.
A short workout.
A few minutes of stretching.
